The amazingly talented Momo Girl released Girl with Poem Coloring Book this year filled with beautiful illustrations of girls accompanied by poems. You can see my review of Girl with Poem Coloring Book here.
For colorists that are unsure how to color this beautiful book, Momo Girl has now released a lesson book to accompany it.
The tutorial book is 196 pages and filled with step by step instructions divided into two chapters plus a prologue and epilogue.
The prologue covers the basics of getting to know your pencils, markers blending and pressure. Chapter 1 dives into teaching specific skills of skin tone, eyes, lips and nose and mouth areas. Chapter 2 comprises the step by step lessons for the accompanying pictures.
There are 9 lessons to accompany the most popular pictures from Girl with Poem. The lessons are printed in color and the accompanying text is in Korean. If you cannot read Korean, you can use a scan and translate app to decipher the text. Bear in mind though, that translation apps are never really accurate but give you a general idea of the wording.
