Mizuho Coloring Book Video Review
I hope you enjoyed the video review of Japanese artist, Mizuho’s Coloring Book
Coloring Book Cover & Layout
When I first saw Mizuho’s pages from her coloring book back in February of this year I fell in love.  The gorgeous little bunnies filling each page completely stole my heart. If you know me, you’ll know how heartbroken I was that this digital pdf was only available for download in Japan.
Luckily for me, Mizuho is the sort of artist that takes pity on coloring book obsessed bunny lovers.  Being a busy mum it took her a few months to get a store set up so that lovers of her art, outside of Japan, could purchase.  She even took the trouble to message me and let me know it was available.  I clicked that “add to cart” button faster than speeding light!  You know how much love I love bunnies!
Mizuho’s first coloring book is not just bunnies though.  It is packed with gorgeous, whimsical characters that have an old world storybook feel to them.  There are little bears (which remind me of Goldilocks) and little pigs as well.  If you are a fan of cute coloring books, this one may steal your heart.
Art Work
The artwork is sweet and whimsical in the 22 page coloring book.
The illustrations are hand drawn.
A dull black line has been used for the bulk of the pictures.  There are lighter lines on some drawings which is common with hand drawn artwork.
There is a nice variation in detail between pictures.  Some pictures are detailed scenes which you could spend hours escaping to, others have less line art and detail for quick coloring.
This is a coloring book that colorists of all ages could enjoy.
If you have a minor visual or motor impairment, some of the detailed scenes may require a magnifying lamp and shorter sittings coloring.
