Zen Doodle Coloring Book Review – Relax & Relieve Stress

The Zen doodle coloring book measures approximately 27.5 cm x 21 cm and has a soft card cover.      The book is large containing over 100 zen doodle type illustrations from multiple artists.

Zen doodle is a cross between a zentangle and a doodle.

The paper is thin and you will need to put a piece of card in between if you are using markers.

The books contains a variety of illustrations primarily being  geometric and abstract designs, animals and mandalas.     I like the variety of artists that have contributed to this book as it gives you, as the colorist, a wide range of images to choose from.  On the reverse side of the image you will find details of the artist and the book the zendoodle originated from.   If you enjoy coloring line work from a particular zendoodle artist you can purchase the original book.

Some colorists may not like the line work in this book.     The illustrations appear smudgy and lack the crisp, sharp lines of images that have been digitally enhanced and cleaned up from the original drawing.
