Colour For Me – The Colouring Book for a Happy Mind – Adult Colouring Magazine Review

The Colour for Me – The Colouring Book for  a Happy Mind is produced by Better Homes & Garden.    Better Homes and Garden publishes a monthly lifestyle magazine.   They also have entered the market for publishing coloring magazines.   They have a range of titles that you can choose from.   The good thing about the magazines is that they provide a variety of images at a reasonable price.   The magazines can be purchased in Australia at most supermarkets or newsagents.

This edition of the magazine has a first page with a name plate on it.   This is a nice touch for a low cost coloring book.      There’s a range of illustrations inside from chickens, animals, mandalas, birds, buttons, umbrellas, hot air balloon and so on.     I look at a lot of coloring books and magazines and to me, I feel that I have seen these images before in other magazines.    This is often the case when the images are not custom drawn for the coloring book.

Each image is printed on a single sided white paper.   The facing side has a nice quote on it.  The paper is very good quality for a magazine and is a lot thicker than I expected.   You would still need to put a blotting paper between the pages to avoid wet media bleeding through to the other side.

I find that these soft cover magazine coloring books are ideal for commuting and travelling.

Check out the video review below of Colour for Me and let me know what you think of the variety of images available to color.

About the author

coloringqueen

I'm Lea and I love everything to do with coloring! If it is a coloring book, a poster or even a bookmark that you can color in, I'm all over it. Of course, a girl has to have some pencils, markers, gelly rolls, pastels and what not to make those pictures pretty and I love those as well.

Whilst my coloring style lacks skill, I am enthusiastic and focused on enjoying the moment and having fun.
