Colour for Christmas – The Colouring Book for a Happy Mind – Adult Colouring Magazine

Colour for Christmas is a lovely themed magazine produced by Better Homes and Garden.     Better Homes and Garden produce a monthly lifestyle magazine in Australia and they also have moved into producing coloring books for adults as well.      The cover of this Christmas themed magazine has some lovely silver foil highlights which gives it a Christmassy feel.

The first page consists of a nameplate that has some traditional Christmas touches.   There are a nice range of Christmas images in this book which have a more European Christmas feel with reindeer, snowflakes and the like.   Christmas in Australia is very hot so it appears the magazine has tried to cool us down with soothing images of snowflakes 🙂  You will also find some cute Christmas trees, ornaments, stockings and gingerbread houses.    Overall, it is a nice range of images.

The paper is white and quite good quality.  You will need a blotter between pages if using wet mediums but that is to be expected with the majority of coloring books.

The images are outlined well in black and should be easy to see for people with minor visual impairment.    There is also a nice range of complexity in the images with some designs with large spaces and less detail.

About the author

I'm Lea and I love everything to do with coloring! If it is a coloring book, a poster or even a bookmark that you can color in, I'm all over it. Of course, a girl has to have some pencils, markers, gelly rolls, pastels and what not to make those pictures pretty and I love those as well.

Whilst my coloring style lacks skill, I am enthusiastic and focused on enjoying the moment and having fun.
