Country Style – Colours in the Country – Adult Colouring Magazine Review
This is a nice magazine with a country theme. The cover is printed card with some classy gold foil highlights. The magazine is readily available in Australia at most supermarkets and newsagents.
The inside card cover has some cute flowers on it that you can color in. There’s also a nice little nameplate page which is something you do not normally see in a magazine style colouring book.
The illustrations are all printed on single sided white paper. The paper is thin so you will need to put a backing page between pages to avoid bleed through and dents from pressing with your pencils. The cover illustration is cutesy, naive and whimsical and I had hoped that the rest of the magazine would follow that theme. That was not the case. The front cover image is included in the magazine and there are a few more whimsical style images. There are also many other styles. Most of the images have a cutesy, country feel about them … I would have just preferred if they were all more like the cover 🙂
There are images of bunnys, chooks, feathers, flowers and birds. I particularly, like the page full of tea cups and the bee hive.
