This is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all coloring books being released. Bear in mind, that there are hundreds and hundreds of books being released every month. I cannot possibly keep up with all of them!
This list of new releases is only books that have taken my fancy, and that I think you may like as well. Due to the high cost of postage for most readers, this list will usually not include International releases.
Please also bear in mind that different countries often have different publication dates. Something may be released in the US earlier than in the UK or vice versa.

August Late Additions
Rising Coloring Book (Click Bound Edition)
Karolina Kubikowska released a new version of her beautiful Rising Coloring Book. The click bound version was released in a very limited print run at the end of August 2023 and is now sold out.
What makes this book completely different is the amazing binding. Although the book looks like it has a plastic coil spiral binding the binding actually opens and snaps shut. The illustrations in this book are printed on single-sided pages on 190 gsm paper.

Rooms of Wonder Coloring – Kids v Adults Coloring
Johanna Basford has two lovely freebies from her Rooms of Wonder Coloring Book. One image is more detailed and suitable for adults to color and the other may be great for kids to color or for those with a motor or visual impairment. Both of the images are gorgeous and are free to download and print on your own paper.

There is also a luxury spiral-bound edition from the artist’s online store and if you want to save on shipping costs and print on your own paper there is also a PDF digital download version as well.

This book is a little different. First the colorist needs to trace the line art in the book and experiment with different pen types and weights while doing so. Once finished, they have a book they can color in. I haven’t seen the book (or a look inside) but it may be that tracing is not necessary at all and that you can color with a more painterly look with barely there lines. I would be interested in having a look if you buy this book so please tag me on Instagram so I can have a sticky beak!
