This is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all coloring books being released. Bear in mind, that there are hundreds and hundreds of books being released every month. I cannot possibly keep up with all of them!
This list of new releases is only books that have taken my fancy, and that I think you may like as well. Due to the high cost of postage for most readers, this list will usually not include International releases.
Please also bear in mind that different countries often have different publication dates. Something may be released in the US earlier than in the UK or vice versa.

April Late Additions
Soul Goddess Coloring Book
This Korean coloring book features 40 Goddesses from around the world. On one side of the page is a small colored image of the Goddess and text in Korean providing information about the Goddess. On the facing page, you will find the line art printed in dull black. The line art appears to be centered well on the page, avoiding the spine and often featuring a border.

Mandala a Month – April 2024
Blatant self-promotion follows! This is my new project. Every month I release a mandala I’ve created in line art form, greyscale, and color by number. Tatiana Bogema continues the “Nice Little Town” series. This time the adorable mice are taking a trip to space. There are 25 illustrations in the book and the blurb promises “distant planets … alien creatures….exotic plant life …unknown worlds” and curious inhabitants. Illustrations are printed on single-sided pages on white trade stock paper.

Coloring Books May 2024
May seems to be the month that hard-core colorists may be able to save a few pennies on coloring books for their stash. There are very few coloring books to be released in May that have made it to my list this month. Not to worry though, there are a lot of coloring books coming out in June in case you are worried that things are slowing down!
Joseph Catimbang has illustrated another book in the Mythographic series this time with a summer theme. I’m guessing other seasons will be featured in the future. The publisher promises 45 hand-drawn illustrations including “jungles to reveal mystical tree frogs and elephants with monarch wings. Explore gemstone-crusted beaches with basking otters, enthralling dunes where majestic camels reign, and tropical manatee realms that float between what’s real and imagined.”

Deborah Muller Coloring Books
Regular readers may have noticed that Deborah Muller’s coloring books have not been available on the Amazon marketplace recently. Fortunately, after a lot of hard work and effort by Deborah, her books are back on the Amazon marketplace. Please be careful when searching the marketplace for Deborah’s books. Sadly many books show her name or her images but are NOT her work. You can go to her author’s page on Amazon here where you can choose one of her beautiful hand-drawn coloring books.
Deborah’s work as always is available at her Chubby Mermaid store on Etsy. Most of the coloring books in her store are digital downloads but there are some that are Artist editions (physical books) and she often has a variety of pages and other treats in themed boxes for sale. Gabriel Colors
Gabriel Colors on Instagram is releasing his first coloring book soon. It is titled “Alchemise – The Nightmare Becomes Art” it is a deep immersion into the alchemy of feelings, where each page is permeated by the transformation of the darkest emotions, while feelings of pain, fear and anguish are transmuted. ” The sneak peeks on Instagram look amazing and I can’t wait to see this new book.

Hanna Karlzon
Hanna is getting into the Christmas spirit with a Christmas-themed coloring book due for release in August 2024. The 64-page hardcover book is called “God Jul” and “will be filled with festive holiday and winter designs; decorations, Christmas trees, angels, gingerbreads, reindeer, fancy gifts” etc. It is a smaller size than some of her other coloring books at 24 cm x 20 cm.

Millie is quite a prolific illustrator and it is no surprise that a new book is in the works from her. As yet there are no further details but I expect that it will be released later in the year.
Johanna Basford
Johanna has a new book in the works called Magical Worlds due for release in October. I am super excited to see this book as the details on the cover look just gorgeous! According to the publisher’s blurb it features “faraway lands, enchanted castles, and inky realms, underwater cities, tiny, cozy cottages, and marvelous tree houses.” I am excited!
Klara Markova
The amazingly talented Klara Markova has been busy inking more beautiful fairy worlds for us to fall in love with. Klara has announced that a new book will be published this year – likely about September/October based on her previous releases. At the time of writing though there are no other details available. I am sure like always Klara’s new book will be gorgeous! Time to start saving!
Tales of Mischief Coloring Book
Jack Brutus Penny is a UK “nonsense writer and illustrator” living in Japan. His work is highly detailed and interesting. You can check it out at his shop here. After creating books, playing cards, coasters, and even cuff links Jack is dipping his toes into the coloring book world. He is creating a completely different style of coloring book that most colorists are familiar with.
His coloring book is called Tales of Mischief in Colour which will be a limited edition book. This luxury hardcover book features a textured and foiled cover. The line art in this 24-page coloring book is already colored and the book is presented in the traditional Japanese Orihon style. This is an accordion-style book where it folds out. I have coloring books that have pre-colored lines and I have accordion-style books but this is the first time I’ve seen both styles combined in one book.
