Colorgami – Coloring and Origami Fun Projects Review
It is not often that I see something in Australia first before I see it online but that is the case with ColorGami.  I purchased my ColorGami kit months ago in a local art shop in Sydney.   Like so many things in my office, it has sat on the shelf waiting to be taken down and played with.  I adore coloring with a purpose and coloring that you can do with family and friends.   When I seen ColorGami, I snapped it up as it fit so well with those ideals.
Cover & Layout
The ColorGami set comes in a sturdy fold out card box.   It has a lovely blue cover with pictures of colored origami decorations.   A super cute touch is the porthole window featuring a colored origami fox.    On the left side of the box, you will find a package of origami papers for you to color.
The papers measure 6 in x 6 in.  The paper is white and thin.   There are a variety of illustrations that have been printed on the papers for you to color in.     The line art is black, crisp and very easy to see. You can see the line art on the reverse of the papers. For each design there are about 4 papers of it to color in and fold (totaling 100)
On the facing part of the box is a lovely spiral bound origami project book.  Inside you will find 20 origami projects to keep you busy. The booklet has been printed in color to make it easy to follow and is also available for purchase separately.  You will learn how to make a lovely flower,swan, box, envelope, lantern, koi fish among other things. My absolutely favorite thing is the fox!  He is sooo cute!
Coloring in small squares and creating lovely origami creations seems like it would be very fun and relaxing.  There is no pressure to finish a large piece of coloring that may take days or weeks but only a small square.  At the end of it, you can learn techniques and enjoy the craft of origami and use your creations to decorate your house, create mobiles or just display and enjoy.
I really love the practicality of this coloring product and think it would make a great gift and one that the whole family can enjoy.
