- The theme of the book is that a Mother bear, baby bear, rabbit, wolf, and bird are all members of a travelling band/orchestra. The pages follow the band as they travel around through the seasons
- There are two pages of coloring tips (with instructions in Japanese)
- Illustrations are printed on both sides of the ivory medium quality paper
- The line art is in a dull black with a slight sketchy appearance and fine to medium line
- The art work is well positioned on the page for ease of coloring
- There are 5 double page spreads in the book
- A variety of different size art work has been included – full page scenes and smaller images
- Illustrations vary in complexity with some art work with large open spaces and some more detailed
- The coloring book also includes a bonus digital PDF download of a colored postcard and a copy of this book in PDF format. Instructions for obtaining the bonus are set out in the book (if you do not understand Japanese you will need to use Google Translate to scan the page or similar)
