I hope you enjoyed the video review of the cute Tokidoki Coloring Book  above.

Tokidoki Coloring Book Review

Tokidoki have a range of  adorable characters and products for Tokidoki fans.   Tokidoki fans that color will be pleased to know that their range also consists of a number of coloring products so you can color your own favorite characters.

Cover & Layout

The card cover of  Tokidoki features a jumble of the characters and pre printed color.   Hot pink foil highlights add a bit of sparkle to this cute book.   The cover exudes a feeling of fun!    This is a fun coloring book to be enjoyed and not take ourselves too seriously.

The coloring book is a handbag size of  7 in x 9 in making it great to carry around with you with a pack of pencils when you are on the move.

Copyright information has been printed on the inner front cover.     There are no ancillary pages.    This is a little bit of a shame as it is always good to have a spot to test out your mediums on the paper and see how they react, before starting a picture.

The paper is white and a medium quality.   All of the illustrations have been printed on a single page.    This means that you can use the coloring medium of your choice, just pop paper in between the pages to avoid any bleed through if using wet mediums.

This book is so much fun!   All of the illustrations fill the whole of the page with either main characters or background elements.     There are pages of  Tokidoki characters in pattern format,  portrait style and some cutesy scenes.   In total there are 32 cute pages to color in.

The line art is a thick, rich black making it very easy to see and great for those with visual impairment.

Most of the images although they are simple there is a lot of detail on the page and it will take a little while to color in.    The great thing about this coloring book is that you can truly just relax and be a kid again.  Color the characters solid or blend if you wish the choice is yours.       It would also be a lovely book to share with your child where you could have some coloring fun together.

I  have colored a few pictures from the book since the publisher kindly sent it to me.     I used Bic Markers for one picture which did show through to the other side.     I always put a piece of paper or plastic between pages in coloring books so the next page was not affected at all.    The markers go on smooth on the paper and do not overly wet it and leave a smooth finish.

About the author

I'm Lea and I love everything to do with coloring! If it is a coloring book, a poster or even a bookmark that you can color in, I'm all over it. Of course, a girl has to have some pencils, markers, gelly rolls, pastels and what not to make those pictures pretty and I love those as well.

Whilst my coloring style lacks skill, I am enthusiastic and focused on enjoying the moment and having fun.
