The Time Garden – Daria Song
This beautiful adult colouring book illustrated by Daria Song is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful colouring books on the market today for colorists.
The dust jacket for this book is white card with gold foil embellisments and highlights printed in green and copper. The cover is colorable and folds out. The inner cover has a blue background and you could theoretically color this, although it may be more difficult to choose a color palette. The spine of the book is a lovely shade of blue. The spine colour distinguishes it from its companion, The Time Chamber.
The illustrations on this book are printed on white, good quality paper. My only negative is that the illustrations are printed on both sides of the paper.
Daria Song is a talented artist. The illustrations that fill this book tell a beautiful story and offer the colorist a lot of opportunity with intricate detail.
This is the type of book that I would like to colour the pictures of more than once with different color schemes.
Many of the illustrations are to the spine of the book. However, I did not have any problems opening the book to reach this part of the spine for coloring.
