Why do newlyweds from every country in the world choose Italy for their honeymoon? Of course, it is because Italy is recognized as the world's epicenter of love and romance. The beautiful illustrations in this book will virtually transport you to this magical land. Augusta Schinchirimini's exceptional artistic talent and her passion for the culture of her native land have allowed her to produce 50 illustrations that epitomize Italy's classic art tradition. They are also highly suggestive of the romance that is pervasive in the land of Romeo and Julliet. Augusta's illustrations will: invite you to join the ostentatious merriment of Carnevale in Venice; reacquaint you with the classic fables of childhood including Pinocchio, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Peter Pan; take you into enchanting gardens filled with flowers, birds and butterflies; escort you through forests filled with animals, castles, and bridges; immerse you among the creatures of the undersea world; and show you classic designs used to make Italy's incomparable "Maiolica" ceramics. "Romantic Italy" is unique among coloring books in that each and every illustration was drawn by hand. Unlike other coloring books, the only "software" used in the creation of this book were the delicate hands of the artist.

Romantic Italy Coloring Book Review
Romantic Italy is illustrated by talented artist, Augusta Schinchirimini. Augusta, has divided her first coloring book into 5 different themes of Italy Carnevale in Venice, Fairy Tale Characters, Forests & Gardens The Sea; and Classic Ceramic Designs.
Augusta’s work has a real hand drawn feel to each of the 50 illustrations as she refrains from using computer technology to digitalise the images. This means that some of the line work may not be as sharp, as other coloring books you own, but on the whole the line work is very easy to see.
Each of the images is surrounded by a nice border and is well centred on the page.
The book comes with a soft cover and measures approximately 28cm x 21.5 cm. The paper is thin and is of the type normally used by independent coloring book artists. The paper is usually fine to work with providing you put a blotter behind the image that you are working on. Although, it may not look like it in the review, the paper is white.
The illustrations are well thought and imaginative. As the artist uses the whole of the page with her design, there is plenty of things to color in. I love the Fairy Tale Characters section out of all the themes in the book the best. The artist has given a new look to some old faves and surrounded them with a beautiful background.
