Luna Coloring Book Features
- hardcover coloring book with gold foiling front and back with black protective pages front and back
- stitched binding making it easy to lay flat
- 88 pages rather than the 96 from previous books like Flora Coloring Book
- paper is a smooth, off white paper and is the same used by Maria’s English publishers, Gibbs Smith in her previous books (I believe it is 150 gsm but have not confirmed this)
- The nameplate page at the front of the book features beautiful birds and makes a great place to get started.  The space left to write your name though is quite small in comparison with other nameplate pages
- the theme of a stroll in a moonlit garden is consistent throughout
- illustrations are well-positioned and centered on the page for ease of coloring
- different levels of complexity with some images being very small and others the larger, open elements that are present in Maria’s previous books
- some of the pictures that have smaller elements may need a magnifying lamp for colorists with a minor visual impairment
- double-page scenes and pages with a black background feature in the coloring book
- a legend at the back sets out the names of plants and animals illustrated in the coloring book with the page number they appear on.  However, as the pages are not numbered you will need to count the pages
- a tester page has been included at the back of the book to test your mediums.  If you would like to see how my tests went with pencils and water-based products please see this video
