Just Add Color: Carnival
Just Add Color: Carnival illustrated by Sarah Walsh
I love the illustrations that Sarah Walsh draws for this series of coloring books.
Just Add Color produces a number of coloring books for adults that are illustrated by various artists. Sarah Walsh is one of my favorite illustrators. Her designs are always a lot of fun and you can easily imagine how vibrant they will look colored.
These books are all published in the same size of approximately 25.5 x 21.5 cm. This makes them a smallish square book (compared to other popular coloring books). I like the sizing of the book. The cover is card and has mostly been printed with little coloring opportunity there 🙂 As always the 30 original pieces of art are printed on white paper that is perforated for easy removal. The paper is very good quality and has good tooth to it.
Sarah Walsh has created some beautiful illustrations for this book which are all clearly defined with black line work. There are some images that have solid black pre filled. Some colorists may have preferred this unfilled so they could choose the color themselves. Carnival is based on the people that you expect to see at the Carnival, although there are some animals.
