Enchanted Forest Coloring Book – Johanna Basford

Enchanted Forest is the second book created by talented illustrator Johanna Bashford. This book follows the same layout as her first book Secret Garden. The book is printed on double sided cream/off white paper in story book form. The images are on both sides of the paper. Just like her first book the dust jacket is removable and colorable and there is a large fold out to color as well. The book follows the same theme as her original book, Secret Garden. You will find that there is an inky quest to discover throughout the book. This interactivity can add enjoyment to your coloring experience (or you can choose to ignore it completely and just colour in).

Johanna specializes in beautiful, intricate designs. These can take days if not weeks to color if you like to blend and shade all the elements.

Although this book is absolutely beautiful and one of my favorites I have to rate it lower than I would like due to the double page images. I believe that Johanna will be publishing more books this year and at least one will be single sided.
