This is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all coloring books being released. Bear in mind, that there are hundreds and hundreds of books being released every month. I cannot possibly keep up with all of them!
This list of new releases is only books that have taken my fancy, and that I think you may like as well. Due to the high cost of postage for most readers, this list will usually not include International releases.
Please also bear in mind that different countries often have different publication dates. Something may be released in the US earlier than in the UK or vice versa.

Do you love mermaids?

Who knew witches enjoyed a bit of fun in the sun?
If you are a fan of witches this book of 31 hand-drawn witches by Deborah Muller will keep you busy until Halloween.

Rowon’s Illustration Cat and Girl Coloring Book
This. is the second coloring book from Korean artist, Rowon.  You will find the illustrative journey of a young girl and her cat.
The book is divided into chapters.   Chapter 1 features the young girl and the cat, Chapter 2 features a range of pictures including “Cat Cafe, Snowy Day, Summer Vacation, I Love Dessert, Rabbit Cafe and many more.
There are 45 illustrations in the book printed with lay-flat binding and 180 gsm. paper. There are also 9 postcards

Imaginary Friends Coloring Book Second Revised Edition
The gorgeous Imaginary Friends Coloring Book was released a few years ago as a spiral bound coloring book.  You can see my review of the original Imaginary Friends by Karolina Kubikowska here.
This fan favorite is now being re-released with a new and improved version. Rather than spiral binding it’s in pad format with tear-off pages with artwork printed on 150 gsm paper. The pad is housed in a cardboard storage case.
The illustrations have had some changes – new compositions, some corrections, and TWO new illustrations.

Coloring Books August 2024
This series of coloring books from Japanese illustrator, Pochi is one of my favorites.  There have been so many gorgeous pictures in this series and this one looks like it will be just as gorgeous as the others.
In this coloring book, you will find images depicting the lives of children and the stuffed animals (plushies) that share their lives.
You will find small stuffed animals, interiors, furniture, cute toys, flowers, nuts, sweets, backyards, children’s rooms, kitchens, and more.
As usual, the artist will provide a link to download a colored color scheme postcard size sample as well as the illustrations in PDF format that can be printed on your own paper.  I love this format and use the digital download so that I can keep the original book in pristine condition.

Storefront Coloring Book
This coloring book was originally released in The Netherlands and now has been reprinted in Japanese.  It features 45 storefronts from around the world.
Stores include bakeries, cafes, pubs, and offices with other charming shops from a range of countries. A colored image is also included as well as the illustrations which are printed on thick paper.

If you are looking for something to color for Halloween then Angela Porter for Dover publication has created a cute coloring book for this theme.  The book features 47 illustrations of patterns of pumpkins, skulls, ghosts, bats, cats, and more.

Emelie Lidehäll Öberg originally released the beloved Sagor Och Sanger in 2017 in Sweden.  This coloring book is much beloved by colorists around the world but unfortunately is now out of print and impossible to snag a copy of it.   Thanks to Colour with Claire a petition was organised to reprint this book and a publisher quickly jumped on board.   Emilie has added an additional 10 new designs to the book.
The book is printed on “thick, creamy, high-quality paper with lay-flat binding” and with a hardback cover featuring gold foil highlights.

God Jul Coloring Book Hanna Karlzon

Eriy – Romantic Country – The Second Tale
If you are a fan of Japanese toothpick artist, Eriy, you will be pleased to know that Romantic Country 2 is now available as a French edition.

Maria is dipping her ink into fairy tales, legends, and myths and I’m truly excited!  There are 40 fairy tales that Maria has interpreted in the book.  At this stage, I do not know if an English edition will be released.

Japanese illustrator Kanoko Egusa has a new coloring book in the works and I am super excited! Other than the English imprints of her previous books it has been a while! I can’t wait to see what gorgeous animals are included in the latest book.
Johanna Basford
Johanna has a new book in the works called Magical Worlds due for release in October.  I am super excited to see this book as the details on the cover look just gorgeous! According to the publisher’s blurb it features “faraway lands, enchanted castles, and inky realms, underwater cities, tiny, cozy cottages, and marvelous tree houses.”  I am excited!
Klara Markova
The amazingly talented Klara Markova has been busy inking more beautiful fairy worlds for us to fall in love with.  Klara has announced that a new book will be published this year – likely about September/October based on her previous releases.  At the time of writing though there are no other details available.  I am sure like always Klara’s new book will be gorgeous!  Time to start saving!
Tales of Mischief Coloring Book
Jack Brutus Penny is a UK “nonsense writer and illustrator” living in Japan.  His work is highly detailed and interesting.  You can check it out at his shop here.  After creating books, playing cards, coasters, and even cuff links Jack is dipping his toes into the coloring book world.    He is creating a completely different style of coloring book that most colorists are familiar with.
His coloring book is called Tales of Mischief in Colour which will be a limited edition book.  This luxury hardcover book features a textured and foiled cover.  The line art in this 24-page coloring book is already colored and the book is presented in the traditional Japanese Orihon style.  This is an accordion-style book where it folds out.  I have coloring books that have pre-colored lines and I have accordion-style books but this is the first time I’ve seen both styles combined in one book.
