If you are a fan of Vikings then this coloring book may take your fancy.  There are “25 full pages of drawings of Vikings runes and berserkers” printed on white trade stock paper. At the time of writing, a look inside was not available to show the style of illustrations in this coloring book.

Creative Haven Butterflies Flights of Fancy Coloring Book
The talented Marjorie Sarnat is finishing up the year with another gorgeous nature-inspired coloring book.  Creative Haven always creates high-quality coloring books that are great value for money, in my opinion. Illustrations are printed on single-sided paper that is perforated for easy removal. You will also find 2 colored images to inspire you as you color your way through the 31 “winged creatures from every corner of the globe — including Africa, Asia, and North and South America”. Marjorie has illustrated the butterflies in a number of different styles including Art Nouveau and psychedelic.

Mythographic Color and Discover: Odyssey
Joseph Catimbang has illustrated a number of coloring books in the Mythographic series.  This coloring book features “mesmerizing lands, mythical creatures, and ancient lore in astonishing, illustrated detail“. There are more than 40 illustrations where you can “discover the secret images that have been hidden in each one.”

Airplanes: A Smithsonian Coloring BookÂ
The Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum have created a coloring book that provides an “informative tour through the high-flying world of airplanes“. Illustrator John Pirtel has created plane coloring pages that feature “the 1903 Wright Flyer, the Lockheed Vega 5-B, Northrop Gamma Polar Star, McDonnell F-4S Phantom II, Concorde, and many more”. Each coloring page also has text on aviation history featuring “fascinating insights from the museum’s Aeronautics experts about each aircraft”
This book is published by IDW which also published the Beauty of Horror Coloring Books and The Princess Bride.  The publishers use great paper and always have a high standard in their presentation of coloring books for adults.

The coloring books in this series are generally smaller than most popular coloring books measuring
7.25″ x 9.5″ .   These coloring books are generally suited for colorists that are confident with their coloring skills and techniques if they wish to emulate Thomas Kinkade’s style.

Mushroom Kingdom Adult Coloring
This cute book by Tabby’s Tangled Art is currently available as a PDF. It will be released on Amazon as well in a few days. “Mushroom Kingdom” is a follow-up coloring book to “Magical Mushrooms” by the same artist. There are 29 single-sided designs that feature “mushrooms, flowers, frogs, gnomes, and more”.  If. you purchase the physical copy of the book from Amazon it will be printed on white trade stock paper with a soft cover and “most of the images are repeated on black background”.  You can see a flip through of the coloring book by the artist in the video below.

This coloring book features a variety of artists who have created 40 illustrations with an earth based beauty theme.  The publisher’s promise “We have included everything from animals, nature, mandalas, and sacred geometry“. Included are “40 inspirational quotes plus affirmations in front of beautiful photography to help settle you into a beautiful state while coloring“.  Unusually, the coloring book has been created in landscape rather than portrait format to make “it easier to color the designs as there is less right page curvature“. The publisher has put a lot of thought into the design aligning the images on the far right to avoid the dreaded ditch of the spine.  The illustrations are printed on single-sided pages to ensure a variety of mediums can be used.

A Season of Love Christmas Coloring BookÂ
Deborah Muller has a number of coloring books for the festive season ranging from cute and whimsical to religious-based. A Season of Love Christmas coloring book is filled with “peaceful, sweet, and loving illustrations for the holiday season“. The coloring book contains 31 sweet animal illustrations with a holiday theme.  The book is available as a paperback printed on single-sided trade stock paper or as a digital download to print on your own paper.

The Enchanted Forest Coloring Book
You will find 46 nature-based scenes to color printed on single and double-page spreads. The publisher’s promise “each richly detailed scene features an elaborate combination of stems, leaves, flowers, buds, mushrooms, insects, birds, and other organic elements that make up the bustling life of a forest in miniature“. Consistent with previous coloring books by Sara Muzio the cover art “features gold foil and fold-out flaps“. Sara has created a number of coloring books, some of which I have reviewed previously if you wish to check out her style.
