Additional Colors

I originally purchased the Chen Rui 120 alcohol markers. You can see my review of them here. The larger 168 set then became available, so I purchased that as well. If you already own the 120 set, you can see the additional colors that the 168 set has in the swatch below.

Metallic Liners

A free gift of 8 liners was included with my purchase of the Chen Rui 168 markers. They were not what I expected!

I thought they were acrylic markers, but I was surprised to find that they were metallic markers with a difference. The color is metallic silver, but it is surrounded by the color that is on the cap. Using them to fill solid color doesn’t produce an effect that I like. Personally, I liked the look of dotting the color on. You can see them in the swatch chart above. I am yet to find a purpose for them but I am sure I will think of something one day!
