Calm the F*ck Down Coloring Book Review

As the title suggests,  Calm the F*ck down, is one of the popular “sweary” style coloring book.    I’m all for venting my frustration with a bit of naughty coloring.    Actually, makes me feel relieved and plus I have the advantage of  not having to apologise to someone after 🙂

The book is in the standard format of approximately 11 inches x 8.5 inches which is the standard size for most copy paper, cardstock and home printers.  This is handy, because you may want to copy some of the images and color them and give them to a lot of people! Remember, you cannot copy the uncolored images and distribute them.   That would be wrong and no doubt, there will be a coloring book on copyright infringement soon 🙂

At the start of the book, there are a few pages where you can test your colors.    Often, coloring books have pages to test your mediums on but they are usually blank.   These ones have nice little squares on them so you can test neatly.

The illustrations are printed on single sided, white thin paper.   The paper is the usual paper that is used by coloring book artists.  You will need to put a piece of card behind the image in order to avoid bleed through if using wet mediums.

The majority of the illustrations do not contain swearing words.   They are more sassy than sweary.   The illustrations range from simple doodles to cute little animals or houses.   Some of the illustrations of flowers have a lot of detail and would be difficult to color if you have visual impairment.    Most of the images have good, solid, black line work and it is easy to discern the lines.   In total there are 21 illustrations to color in.

About the author

coloringqueen

I'm Lea and I love everything to do with coloring! If it is a coloring book, a poster or even a bookmark that you can color in, I'm all over it. Of course, a girl has to have some pencils, markers, gelly rolls, pastels and what not to make those pictures pretty and I love those as well.

Whilst my coloring style lacks skill, I am enthusiastic and focused on enjoying the moment and having fun.
