This beautiful Chinese coloring book was a Christmas gift from a lovely lady. I’ve never met her “in real life” but she certainly knows me well.
This hardback coloring book is totally luxurious. The beautiful and sturdy cover, the gold foiling on the dust jacket, the colored images throughout the book and the sheer size of the book all speak to that. This is the sort of book that would be just as comfortable in the coloring cave as it would be on the coffee table.
Black protective paper on either end of the book protects the illustrations inside.
The artwork is printed on both sides of the glossy white paper. The paper is medium to heavy. Testing will need to be done to see how the glossy paper reacts with various mediums.
Bonus
My copy of the book also came with:
- a beautiful glossy poster featuring an illustration from the book
- a plain kraft colored blank notebook featuring line art on the cover
- 4 colored postcards featuring artwork from the book
I am unable to say whether these bonus items are included with the book normally, as it was a gift.
