On the Other Side of the Dream Coloring Book – Features

  • This is the English edition of Karolina Kubikowska’s first coloring book, Po Drugiej Stronie Snu which was published  in 2015
  • On the Other Side of the Dream has been completely reformatted with changes that include – black protective paper at both ends of the book, rearrangement of elements on the page, some double page images now single page, four new illustrations, hardback cover, and gilding
  • Hardback metallic look cover with gilding on spine and cover elements
  • Medium quality paper which is 150 gsm
  • The coloring book contains many coloring pages with a watercolor effect and text in English
  • On the paper, you will notice that it has been pre-printed with a textured weave look (although the paper is smooth)
  • Illustrations are printed in a dull black and are highly textured with a lot of blacks which reflects Karolina’s unique style of artwork
  • You will find illustrations of flowers, insects, crystals, animals, houses, and women throughout the book
  • Many illustrations have room to add a background of your choice if you wish
  • As the artwork is so detailed, it makes it easy to color for colorists of all ages and skill levels
  • A small card is also included featuring a cute colored cat on one side and the line art for you to color on the reverse

Po Drugiej Stronie Snu (Polish edition) /  On the Other Side of the Dream Coloring Book (English edition)

In my opinion, the English imprint is superior to the original Polish edition of the book due to the:  hardcover, paper quality, rearrangement of illustrations, and 4 new illustrations.  You can see my video review of Po Drugiej Stronie Snu here

About the author

coloringqueen

I'm Lea and I love everything to do with coloring! If it is a coloring book, a poster or even a bookmark that you can color in, I'm all over it. Of course, a girl has to have some pencils, markers, gelly rolls, pastels and what not to make those pictures pretty and I love those as well.

Whilst my coloring style lacks skill, I am enthusiastic and focused on enjoying the moment and having fun.
