One Year Wiser – Weekly Meditations and Colouring Book
One Year Wiser is written by Huffington Post zen expert Mike Medagalia and filled with 52 hand drawn illustrations for meditation. The book comes with a textured cover and measures approximately 25cm x 21cm.
The inside of the cover is card and there are some floral illustrations that you could colour in (they are a bit detailed though). The illustrations are printed on good quality paper on one side of the page. On the facing page the week number is shown in the form of a cute illustration. Each illustration contains a quote to help you meditate or be stress free.
The pages are not perforated but there is a useful scissor icon and line on the margin so you can easily remove the image.
The illustrations are centered in the page nicely so they do not abut the spine of the book. Some illustrations have a border around them.
One thing that does bother me about the book is that the ink quality is faint in some areas and then sharp, crisp, black in others. This could be a reflection of the images being hand drawn. They may not have been reworked in a computer program to sharpen the line work.
