Little Book of Colouring:  Patterns illustrated by Amber Anderson

This is a cute little book that is handy to cart about in your hand bag when you want to color anywhere.    The book is part of “The little book of colouring” series.     There are other books in the series as well.

All the “little books” measure approximately 20cm x 14cm and come with a card cover.

Amber Anderson has illustrated each patter on single sided white paper.  On the facing page there is a quote.   The paper quality is good, but I would put a blotter between pages if you are using markers or are heavy handed with the pencils.

The line work on the images is in dark grey which may suit colorists who like to outline the work in matching colors.   Personally, I prefer black line work because my eyesight is not as good as it used to be 🙂

The patterns are varied comprising russian dolls, mountains, candles, snowflakes and geometric designs that you would expect.

About the author

coloringqueen

I'm Lea and I love everything to do with coloring! If it is a coloring book, a poster or even a bookmark that you can color in, I'm all over it. Of course, a girl has to have some pencils, markers, gelly rolls, pastels and what not to make those pictures pretty and I love those as well.

Whilst my coloring style lacks skill, I am enthusiastic and focused on enjoying the moment and having fun.
