Our lives become busier with each passing day, and as technology escalates, so does our access to work, obligations, and stress. Constant stimulation and expectation have left us burnt out and distanced from the present moment. "Now" has become something that happens online, not in the space and time that we physically occupy. Color Me Calm is a guided coloring book designed for harried adults. Art therapist Lacy Mucklow and artist Angela Porter offer up 100 coloring templates all designed to help you get coloring and get relaxed. Organized into seven therapeutically-themed chapters including Mandalas, Water Scenes, Wooded Scenes, Geometric Patterns, Flora & Fauna, Natural Patterns, and Spirituality - the book examines the benefits of putting pencil to paper and offers adults an opportunity to channel their anxiety into satisfying, creative accomplishment. Part of the international bestselling Color Me series, Color Me Calm is the perfect way step back from the stress of everyday life, color, and relax!

Colour Me Calm – 100 Colouring Templates for Meditation & Relaxation

Colour Me Calm is part of the Colour Me series of art therapy books created by Lacy Mucklow and Angela Porter.        The books all have a distinctive design making them easy to spot in your local book shop.

Colour Me Calm contains over 100 templates that aim to produce a therapeutic result of meditation and relaxation.

The cover of the book is card.    The book is divided into themes Mandalas, water scenes, wooded scenes, geometric patterns, floral and fauna and natural patterns.     Each theme is colour coded in the book so you always know which section you are working from.

The illustrations are printed on single sided white paper.  On the reverse of each image is a standard template for that particular theme.    There are a wide variety of illustrations throughout the book making it useful as a go to book when you want some variety in your colouring.  Each illustration in the theme has a right margin border on it.    This may be appealing to you or it may not be.

I do like the colored templates that are included in the book that give you colouring inspiration.

I'm Lea and I love everything to do with coloring! If it is a coloring book, a poster or even a bookmark that you can color in, I'm all over it. Of course, a girl has to have some pencils, markers, gelly rolls, pastels and what not to make those pictures pretty and I love those as well.

Whilst my coloring style lacks skill, I am enthusiastic and focused on enjoying the moment and having fun.
