  • range of different types of images to color
  • large, open elements to color which would suit those with a minor visual or motor impairment
  • vibrant color schemes provided (or make your own up)
  • different mediums can be used – markers, pencils (I used Sharpies, colored pencil and Crayola Super Tips – none of which bled through to the next page but did show through on the rear of the picture)
  • pictures can be colored in the book or removed for coloring and/or framing
  • advanced colorists could add blending, layers to give the picture more depth and dimension
