A compilation of images taken from the Morphia series has been gathered together in a celebration of Kerby Rosanes's talent.
Colormorphia is a selection of Kerby Rosanes's artwork, featuring a stunning, full-color sixteen-page section at the beginning of the book that displays some of the most accomplished completed artworks produced by Kerby's fans. These demonstrate the range of approaches colorists can experiment with when coloring. Kerby comments on the styles and the results, describing why they work so well.
The artworks displayed in the color section are included in the black-and-white section of the book, too, giving the reader the opportunity to duplicate the approach should they wish.

Colormorphia Coloring Book Review

Colormorphia departs from the formula previously used in Kerby Rosanes coloring books. Colormorphia is a collection of the favorite illustrations that have featured in Kerby’s books – Animorphia, Imagimorphia, Mythomorphia, Fantomorphia and Geomorphia.

This collection of artwork does not feature any “new” illustrations except for the other side of the cover art featured on Fantomorphia and Geomorphia.

Instead of new art work, colorists can enjoy 16 colored images by Kerby’s fans. These inspiration images can be used as a reference for the accompanying line art illustrations included in the book. Of course, you do not need Colormorphia for this as you could search Pinterest or Instagram for colored images to inspire you.

Most of my coloring books are still packed up in boxes so I have to rely on my old memory a bit. I am pretty sure though that the paper in Colormorphia is far thicker than what was in his previous coloring books.

Colormorphia is being released as a US and UK edition. The edition that I have is the US edition.

About the author

I'm Lea and I love everything to do with coloring! If it is a coloring book, a poster or even a bookmark that you can color in, I'm all over it. Of course, a girl has to have some pencils, markers, gelly rolls, pastels and what not to make those pictures pretty and I love those as well.

Whilst my coloring style lacks skill, I am enthusiastic and focused on enjoying the moment and having fun.
