The Chubby Mermaid – Adult Coloring Book
This coloring book is illustrated by Deborah Muller. Her artistic style may be familiar to you as she illustrates a number of the Posh Coloring Books. I love this doodley (is that a word?) style of coloring book. They always look so much fun to draw and color.
I purchased the book via Etsy as it is not available via other sites at this stage. It was shipped from the US to Australia and shipping seemed to take about 3 weeks – which seems reasonable to me. I usually have to wait a few weeks for my coloring books from overseas.
The book has a spiral binding and the front and back cover are colorable. The front cover has been partially colored and there is still plenty more for you to color in. I would have liked to see a plastic sheet protector on the cover as it will easily get torn and damaged just from storage.
The illustrations are all printed on cardstock and they are divine. Each mermaid has a particular “theme” with peace and love providing inspiration for a number of drawings. In total there are 20 pages of designs plus the front and back cover. The illustrations are printed on card measuring 8 1/2 x 11 which can easily be removed from the spiral binding.
