Animorphia is a number 1 best selling adult coloring book. This book features doodling like you have never seen before. The mind of the illustrator, Kerby Rosanes, is evident throughout with his morphing of the animal world and doodle world.

This book is for colorists of all skill and experience. Saying that, no matter what your selected medium is, you will need time and lots of it to completely color these complex images.

Animorphia: An Extreme Colouring and Search Challenge – Kerby Rosanes

This is an extremely complicated book where talented Phillipine’s artist, Kerby Rosanes, morphs the world of animals with doodles. The pictures are very complex and will take days for you to complete one of these intricate drawings.

Kerby Rosanes has a very distinctive doodling style which you can see in a number of his adult coloring books.

This book has a glossy soft cover. The cover is not colorable but there is plenty inside to occupy the colorist for weeks on end!

The images are printed on both sides of the white paper and run right to the spine. As coloring in the inner areas of the spine may be difficult, if you are very keen on this book, you may wish to have the binding removed at your office supply store and replaced with a spiral binding. Many colorists do this with minimal image loss.

The paper quality on my book is better than some coloring books but is not very thick. My book was printed in Australia. There can be differences in the paper quality of this book depending on where it was printed. The paper will withstand gel pens but not your markers. If you are in doubt test your markers on the end page where the illustrations are not full page.

Some parts of the book have a note for you to add your own illustrations to it. I always ignore this direction in coloring books 🙂

This book has an interactive element where you are challenged to search for items in the book. As always in these “quest” style books the answers are at the end of the book. If you were very keen, you could also color the answer legend.

About the author

I'm Lea and I love everything to do with coloring! If it is a coloring book, a poster or even a bookmark that you can color in, I'm all over it. Of course, a girl has to have some pencils, markers, gelly rolls, pastels and what not to make those pictures pretty and I love those as well.

Whilst my coloring style lacks skill, I am enthusiastic and focused on enjoying the moment and having fun.
