Simple Designs a coloring book by Kimberly Garvey is a much needed coloring book in the marketplace.   In my opinion, at the moment, there are a multitude of books that provide beautiful illustrations for colorists to spend hours on.  Unfortunately, there seems to be fewer books that address the section of the market that would prefer or need a simpler design.    Many people are affected by visual, motor, attention span, arthritis and the like.  Taking on a large, fiddly, detailed coloring page can be torture for some.  This type of book allows a multitude of users to enjoy it.
You can choose to color these illustrations solid or you can get fancy and add your blending, shading and other embellishments. I think you have a lot more freedom to express your creativity and enjoy yourself with this type of book.
The book measures 8.5 in x 11 in which is a standard A4 style size for coloring books.
Illustrations
There are 36 illustrations in this book which are printed on white paper.  The illustrations are printed single sides and there is a blotter page at the end of the book.   As the paper is thin, be sure and tear out the blotting page and use it behind each drawing.   The paper quality is typical of that produced by Create Space for Amazon. Whilst it is not the best paper it is certainly good enough to have fun coloring with.
I like the whimsical, naive style of the images which mainly depict flowers, sun and nature scenes.
